Lucid Trading Payout Rules by Plan: Conditions, Caps and Payout Methods
- At Lucid Trading you request payouts from a funded (sim) account after you pass. All 4 plans share a 90/10 profit split and a $500 minimum, and the payout articles for all 4 plans say funds are sent within 2 business days of approval (checked 2026-11-04).
- When you can request depends on the plan: LucidPro needs a 40% consistency rule and a buffer, LucidFlex pays every 5 profit days, LucidDaily pays daily, and LucidDirect needs a 20% consistency rule and a per-payout profit target.
- The payout methods officially listed for non-US traders are WorkMarket by ADP (bank transfer or PayPal) and crypto. Lucid Trading's terms of use are written for US persons, and use from outside the US is under review. Check the eligible regions in the terms on the official site before you sign up.
When can you request a payout at Lucid Trading? Shared rules and plan rules
At Lucid Trading you request payouts from the funded account after you pass the evaluation. LucidDirect has no evaluation, so you work toward a payout from the funded account you bought. The funded account is a simulated account, and each plan has its own payout conditions.
| Item | Shared by all 4 plans |
|---|---|
| Profit split | 90/10 (90% to the trader). LucidPro accounts bought or reset before 2025-11-28 3:00 PM EST get 100% on the first $10k |
| Minimum payout | $500 |
| Time to send | Sent within 2 business days (as stated in the payout articles for all 4 plans) |
| Cancel or edit a request | Not possible (as stated in the payout articles for all 4 plans) |
By plan, LucidPro lets you request any time you meet the per-cycle minimum profit, the 40% consistency rule and the buffer. LucidFlex pays after every 5 profit days, LucidDaily pays daily, and LucidDirect pays when you reach the per-payout profit target.

What are the Lucid Trading payout conditions on each plan?
Lucid Trading payout conditions are built differently on LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect. Here they are plan by plan.
LucidPro: minimum profit, 40% consistency rule, buffer
- Minimum profit per cycle: 25K $250, 50K $500, 100K $750, 150K $1,000
- Consistency rule: the largest daily profit in the payout cycle must be 40% or less of the cycle's total profit (35% for accounts bought or reset before 2025-11-28 3:00 PM EST)
- Buffer: you withdraw only the amount above the initial MLL + $100 (25K $26,100, 50K $52,100, 100K $103,100, 150K $154,600). The buffer itself cannot be withdrawn
- There is no payout window: you can request any time you meet the conditions
- Accounts bought with DLL ON can use On Demand Payouts and request from that day's profit even during the trading session. Once you request, trading stops until the end of that trading day
At 50K, if your largest daily profit was $800, you do not meet 40% until the cycle's total profit reaches $2,000 or more. Losing days reduce the cycle's total profit, which has the same effect as raising the profit you need.
Whether LucidPro payouts require a minimum number of trading days is not stated in the official payout article checked on 2026-11-04, and is under review.
LucidFlex: 5 profit days and net profit for the cycle
- 5 profit days: 5 days with daily profit of at least 25K $100, 50K $150, 100K $200, 150K $250 (resets each cycle)
- Net profit for the cycle must be positive
- No consistency rule and no buffer
- Each payout is capped at 50% of profit and at the cap for your size
- When you request a payout, the MLL automatically rises to the lock level (starting balance + $100)
LucidDaily: daily payouts, full amount above the buffer
- You can request every day if net profit since your last payout is positive
- You can withdraw the full amount above the buffer (initial MLL + $100)
- No consistency rule
- The drawdown is always intraday. You cannot hold positions 1 minute before and after high-impact USD news, and breaking this is a hard breach
LucidDirect: 20% consistency rule and a per-payout profit target
| Size | Profit target, 1st payout | Profit target, 2nd payout onward |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $1,500 | $1,250 |
| 50K | $3,000 | $2,500 |
| 100K | $6,000 | $3,500 |
| 150K | $9,000 | $4,500 |
LucidDirect also applies a 20% consistency rule. The minimum number of days before a payout is under review. Sizes of 50K and up have a DLL, so you can request during the trading session; 25K is processed at the usual EOD.

What is the Lucid Trading payout cap per request?
The Lucid Trading payout cap depends on the plan, the account size and which payout it is. LucidPro changes between the 1st and later payouts, LucidDirect between payouts 1 to 3 and 4 to 5, and LucidFlex does not increase with the count. For LucidDaily, the cap is the full amount above the buffer.
| Plan and payout | 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LucidPro 1st | $1,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| LucidPro 2nd onward | $1,500 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $3,500 |
| LucidFlex each time (up to 50% of profit) | $1,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| LucidDirect 1st to 3rd | $1,000 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 |
| LucidDirect 4th to 5th | $1,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $3,500 |
| LucidDaily | Full amount above the buffer | Full amount above the buffer | Full amount above the buffer | Full amount above the buffer |
For LucidFlex, the smaller of the 2 caps applies. For example, at 50K with $3,000 profit in the cycle, the cap is 50%, or $1,500. Even with $5,000 profit, you cannot withdraw more than the 50K cap of $2,000.
The LucidPro funded account has no cap on the total of simulated payouts. LucidFlex allows up to 5 payouts per account, and on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect the 5th payout is one of the triggers for a review to move to live.

How do the Lucid Trading payout buffer and profit split work?
On Lucid Trading LucidPro and LucidDaily, you must clear the buffer before a payout. The buffer is the initial MLL plus $100, which is $52,100 at 50K. This equals the Initial Trail Balance (the balance where the MLL stops trailing), and once your balance passes it, the MLL locks at the starting balance + $100 ($50,100 at 50K).
The buffer itself cannot be withdrawn. On a 50K LucidPro with a balance of $53,000, only the $900 above the buffer can be paid out. Because the minimum payout is $500, you cannot request until the amount above the buffer reaches $500. LucidFlex has no buffer; instead, the MLL rises to the lock level when you request.
The profit split is 90/10; 100% applies only to old-terms LucidPro
The Lucid Trading split is 90/10 on all 4 plans. On LucidPro, only accounts bought or reset before 2025-11-28 3:00 PM EST keep the old terms of 100% on the first $10k. Accounts bought or reset after that are 90/10 from the start.
For example, if you withdraw $2,000, the trader receives 90%, or $1,800. Fees for each payout method and currency conversion come out of that, but payout fees are not stated officially and are under review.

Lucid Trading payout methods (WorkMarket, crypto) and non-US traders
Lucid Trading has 3 payout methods: Plaid for US residents, WorkMarket by ADP for the US and international, and crypto for international.
| Payout method | Who it is for | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Plaid | US residents only | Instant bank transfer |
| WorkMarket by ADP | US and international | Bank transfer or PayPal. As early as the next business day |
| Crypto | International | BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC |
| Payout fees | All methods | Under review (not stated officially) |
Use and payouts from outside the US are under review
Lucid Trading's terms of use are written for US persons, and use from outside the US is under review. Check the eligible regions in the terms on the official site before you sign up. The company also publishes a restricted countries list, so check that your country of residence is not on it. WorkMarket and crypto are described as international, but whether you can receive payouts with them where you live is also under review.
Non-US residents and tax
The declarations and documents required of non-US residents are under review. Tax treatment depends on where you live, so check with a tax professional in your country.
Identity checks at payout
What the official help center confirms is that WorkMarket runs KYC on its side if you register as a business and use WorkMarket, and that you must complete KYC with the broker when moving from LucidDaily to live. The documents and timing required for individual payouts have no dedicated help article and are under review.
Before choosing a payout method, read the eligible regions in the terms and the restricted countries list yourself, and ask official support about anything unclear.

How long does a Lucid Trading payout take?
The Lucid Trading help center says that once a payout is approved, the amount is deducted from the account within minutes and sent within 2 business days. This appears in the payout articles for LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect.
- Meet the payout conditions in the funded account
- Request an amount from the dashboard ($500 or more and within the cap for that payout; requests cannot be canceled or edited)
- Once approved, the amount is deducted from the account within minutes
- It is sent within 2 business days
- The payout method then processes it (WorkMarket as early as the next business day)
When planning, use the 2 business days in the help center as the baseline. Because it counts business days, weekends and US holidays make it longer in calendar days.

Moving to LucidLive and payouts at Lucid Trading
At Lucid Trading, funded accounts that meet certain conditions are reviewed for a move to a live account (LucidLive). Accounts bought or reset after 2026-02-27 use the new live structure.
What triggers a review
- Taking the final (5th) payout on LucidFlex, LucidPro or LucidDirect
- A large cumulative payout total
- Reaching the LucidDaily maximum daily profit (25K $6,000, 50K $8,000, 100K $10,000, 150K $12,000)
- Outstanding results in a sim funded account, or past live experience
The official new live structure article puts all of these at the risk team's discretion and says "Payout 5" is a cap, not a guarantee of moving to live. On the other hand, the LucidDaily payout article says reaching the maximum profit moves you to live automatically, so the official articles are worded differently (checked 2026-11-04).
Live account conditions
| Item | LucidLive conditions |
|---|---|
| Starting balance | $0 (1 live account per funded account with at least 1 payout) |
| Drawdown | EOD. Starts at 25K $1,000, 50K $2,000, 100K $3,000, 150K $4,500. After the same amount in profit or payouts, the MLL locks at $100 |
| DLL | None |
| Payouts | Daily |
| Cash-out | Option to receive 50% of the live starting balance (90/10). If you do not choose within 24 hours of the move email, you go live automatically |
| Recurring live bonus | $1,000 to $4,500 (90/10) for reaching the live profit target (25K $2,000 to 150K $9,000) and 20 trading days |
| Holding time limit | Until 4:45 PM EST on Tradovate Live and 4:15 PM EST on Rithmic Live. No swing trading |
The official site writes these holding times in EST, and whether they refer to the same clock time (ET) during daylight saving time is under review.
What happens when you move
- When you move to live, all your other sim accounts are closed
- Accounts excluded from the move with 0 payouts get their evaluation fee refunded if 50% or more of the drawdown remains
- While 1 person in a household is live, other household members cannot trade sim accounts
- After losing a live account, there is a 2-week cooldown before you can buy a new evaluation
- When moving from LucidDaily, the buffer goes toward the live starting drawdown (not withdrawable), and sim profit above the buffer is paid up to a total of $15,000
Accounts on the old structure
LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect accounts bought or reset on or before 2026-02-27 use the old live structure (Legacy), which moves you to live after the 6th payout. Check which applies to your account by its purchase and reset dates.

Why is a Lucid Trading payout denied or delayed?
When you cannot request a Lucid Trading payout, or it does not go through, the cause is usually an unmet condition or a trading review. Here are the checks in order, based on the official help center rules.
- The amount above the buffer (LucidPro, LucidDaily) has not reached $500
- You have not met the 40% consistency rule on LucidPro or the 20% rule on LucidDirect
- You have fewer than 5 LucidFlex profit days, or net profit for the cycle is negative
- You have not reached the LucidDirect per-payout profit target
- Your trades were flagged for review as hedging, HFT or microscalping (more than 50% of profit from trades held 5 seconds or less)
Hedging is prohibited, including between accounts of the same user, with other users and with accounts at other firms. A violation resets you to the previous day's balance, and repeat violations can lead to all accounts being breached and a permanent ban. Trades flagged as microscalping are reviewed manually, and continuing after a warning can lead to forfeited profits and a permanent ban.
