How Take Profit Trader works: Test, PRO, PRO+
Take Profit Trader is a futures prop firm run by TakeProfitTrader LLC in Windermere, Florida, often shortened to TPT. Its founder and CEO is James Sixsmith. When you pass the Test evaluation, you move to PRO, a simulated funded account, and withdraw the profits you make there. If the firm invites you, you move to PRO+, a real-capital account.
- 1. Test (evaluation, simulated)
The Take Profit Trader evaluation is one step. On a 50K account you pass by reaching the $3,000 profit target without touching the $2,000 end-of-day maximum drawdown. The Test requires at least 3 trading days and has a consistency rule: your best day must be less than 50% of total profit. There is no daily loss limit and no news rule. You cannot withdraw from the Test.
- 2. PRO (simulated funded account)
After passing, you pay a one-time $130 activation fee to move to PRO. PRO has no monthly fee. Trading is simulated, but payouts are real money. From day one you can request 80% of profits above the buffer (a $52,000 balance on 50K), with no cap. The drawdown switches to Intraday Trailing, which follows your peak including open profits.
- 3. PRO+ (live account, invitation only)
When you meet the conditions, an invitation arrives by email and you move to a live account whose orders go directly to the exchange. The profit split is 90%, there is no buffer, and the drawdown returns to end of day. Promotion is at the firm's discretion; the official explanation says there is no single criterion and the decision is holistic. Specific conditions, such as the number of payouts required, are not published.
The cost works out as the Test monthly fee times the months it takes you to pass, plus the $130 PRO activation fee. The Test is a monthly subscription with no time limit, billed on the same day each month, and it stops automatically when you pass. Breaking a rule does not cancel it automatically, so cancel it yourself if you are not continuing. Once you are in PRO there is no monthly fee, and each PRO account can be reset up to 3 times. A futures prop firm evaluates traders on exchange-listed futures such as ES, NQ, crude oil and gold on exchanges like CME, not on CFDs. Take Profit Trader is one of these firms. It does not offer stocks, options, spot FX, crypto or CFDs.

Pricing
How much does Take Profit Trader cost? Test fees and the $130 activation fee
Take Profit Trader pricing has two parts: the Test monthly fee, and the $130 activation fee you pay when you pass and move to PRO. The Test is a monthly subscription with no time limit, and it stops automatically when you pass. PRO has no monthly fee. The table shows list prices checked on the official site on 2026-11-04.
| Account size | Test monthly fee | Test reset | PRO activation fee | PRO reset | Profit target | Maximum drawdown | |

- The Test monthly fee is billed on the same day each month and stops automatically when you pass. Breaking a rule does not cancel it automatically, so cancel it yourself if you want to stop. If payments keep failing, the account expires, and an expired account cannot be restored.
- You can reset the Test any time for a fee. Resetting does not change your monthly renewal date.
Show 4 more notes
- Each PRO account can be reset up to 3 times. PRO+ cannot be reset directly; you either pass a Test again or reset PRO and wait to be promoted again.
- You can activate up to 10 passed Tests (move them to PRO) in 30 calendar days. You can hold up to 5 PRO and PRO+ accounts at once per person. There is no limit on the number of Tests.
- Commissions in the official comparison table are $4.50 and $1.50 round trip for the Test and PRO, and broker rates for PRO+. Nothing states that market data is billed separately to users, and the terms say the firm pays technology and market data costs to third parties on users' behalf.
- Refunds apply only to unused (untraded) accounts within 72 hours of purchase. The refund is the amount paid minus $75.
Cost to pass: Take Profit Trader Test by months taken
Because the Take Profit Trader Test is billed monthly, your cost depends on how many months it takes you to pass. This table calculates the cost up to activating PRO as the monthly fee times the months, plus the $130 PRO activation fee. For example, passing a 50K account in the first month costs $300, and in the third month $640. Any resets along the way add their price.
| Account size | Pass in month 1 | Pass in month 2 | Pass in month 3 | Pass in month 1 with 1 reset |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $280 | $430 | $580 | $359 |
| 50K | $300 | $470 | $640 | $399 |
| 75K | $375 | $620 | $865 | $514 |
| 100K | $460 | $790 | $1,120 | $629 |
| 150K | $490 | $850 | $1,210 | $689 |
- Estimates calculated from official list prices on 2026-11-04. Tax and trading commissions are not included.

Take Profit Trader rules: $3,000 target and $2,000 maximum drawdown on 50K
The numbers you must respect in the Take Profit Trader Test are set by account size. On a 50K account you pass when you reach the $3,000 profit target without touching the $2,000 end-of-day maximum drawdown, over at least 3 trading days. There is also a consistency rule (your best day must be less than 50% of total profit), but exceeding it does not fail you; it only raises the profit you need. According to official information checked on 2026-11-04, the Test has no daily loss limit and no news rule.

- Trading hours: from 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET. Positions are flattened automatically at 4:55 PM ET, and overnight and weekend holding are not allowed. Positions are also liquidated if you fail to close before a product's session ends or miss a shortened holiday session.
- Consistency: your best day's net P&L divided by your total net profit must be less than 50%. Exceeding it does not fail you; the required profit is automatically raised to more than your best day times 2. PRO and PRO+ have no consistency rule.
Show 5 more notes
- Minimum trading days: the Test requires at least 3 trading days, counting days with at least 1 trade.
- Daily loss limit: the 50K listing on the official home page shows "Daily Loss Limit $1100 Removed," and the comparison table also lists "None" for the Test. When it was removed is Under review.
- Maximum position size is fixed, with no scaling. You can use up to 10 times the mini limit in micros.
- PRO rules: the drawdown switches to Intraday Trailing, and you cannot hold positions or orders 1 minute before and after FOMC, NFP and CPI. You must trade at least 1 round trip on at least 1 day each calendar week (Sunday to Friday), and holding a position when a price limit (Limit Up / Down) is hit costs you the account.
- Tradable products: futures on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. The official list includes ES, NQ, YM, RTY, MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, CL, MCL, NG, GC, MGC, SI, HG, currency futures such as 6E and 6J, interest rate futures such as ZN, agricultural futures such as ZS, and MBT and MET. The thing to watch most closely at Take Profit Trader is that the drawdown type changes by stage.
Take Profit Trader Rules (Test and PRO Drawdown, 50% Consistency Rule, News Rules)Drawdown
Is the Take Profit Trader drawdown EOD or intraday? It changes by stage
The Take Profit Trader maximum drawdown is the same amount in the Test and PRO, but the line moves differently. The Test uses end-of-day trailing (EOD Trailing), PRO uses Intraday Trailing, which follows your peak including open profits during the day, and PRO+ returns to end of day. If you trade PRO the same way you traded the Test, a pullback after a run-up can touch the line. The chart shows a 50K Test example.
- Balance
- Loss floor (end of day)
- Locks at $50,000
Take Profit Trader max drawdown by account size
| Item | 25K | 50K | 75K | 100K | 150K |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Test maximum drawdown (end of day) | $1,500 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,500 |
| PRO maximum drawdown (Intraday Trailing) | $1,500 | $2,000 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,500 |
| PRO buffer (withdraw what is above this balance) | $26,500 | $52,000 | $77,500 | $103,000 | $154,500 |
| PRO+ starting line (from a $0 balance) | -$1,500 | -$2,000 | -$2,500 | -$3,000 | -$4,500 |
| PRO+ Development maximum drawdown (end of day) | $750 | $1,250 | $1,500 | $1,750 | $2,250 |
- A 50K account starts at $50,000 with a $2,000 maximum drawdown, so the line starts at $48,000. Touching this line liquidates you on the spot, whether the loss is realized or open.
- In the Test, the line rises when your end-of-day balance sets a new high. If you end day 1 at $50,600, the line is $48,600. Even if you were up to $51,200 during the day, the line stays at $48,600 as long as you close at $50,600.
Show 6 more notes
- The line does not move down on losing days. If you end day 2 at $50,200, the line stays at $48,600 and your room shrinks to $1,600.
- The Test line locks once it reaches the $50,000 starting balance. On 50K, when your highest close reaches $52,000, the line stops at $50,000.
- PRO Intraday Trailing follows the peak of your account value including open profits. If you run up to $51,200 during the day and end at $50,600, the line is $49,200. In PRO the line also stops at the starting balance.
- The PRO buffer is the starting balance plus the maximum drawdown ($52,000 on 50K). You can withdraw what is above this balance, and once your peak reaches the buffer the line stops at the $50,000 starting balance.
- PRO+ starts at a $0 balance with the same end-of-day drawdown amount you had when you started PRO (-$2,000 on 50K). The line rises with realized end-of-day profits and stops at $0.
- If high-risk trading is observed, you are placed in PRO+ Development, which has a contract limit, a soft daily loss limit and a smaller drawdown. About 60 days of disciplined trading offers a path back to standard PRO+.

Next, here is when and how much you can receive from Take Profit Trader after passing.
Payouts
Take Profit Trader payout rules: 80% of profits above the buffer from day one in PRO
At Take Profit Trader you can withdraw from PRO and PRO+. From day one in PRO you can request 80% of profits above the buffer, with no maximum payout cap. Money moves in two steps: first from your PRO account to your TPT wallet, then from the wallet to an outside account. Official articles describe non-US payout methods differently: the wallet withdrawal article says Wise or PayPal, while the Payout System article says Routable, PayPal and Wise. Both are shown in the table below.

| Payouts | Not available | From day one | From day one |

| PayPal | Outside the US. Listed in both articles. LLC-owned PayPal accounts also accepted | Admin approval up to 12 business hours. Transfer within 12 business hours | PayPal fees may apply |
| Routable | Listed only in the Payout System article (140+ currencies, 220+ countries and regions). Not in the wallet article | Verifying | Verifying |

- Example: if a 50K PRO account has a $53,000 balance, the $1,000 above the $52,000 buffer is eligible, and you receive 80% of it, or $800.
- Close all positions before requesting a transfer from your account to the wallet. Tradovate PRO transfers are processed automatically in 5 to 10 seconds (article updated 2026-08-20), while Rithmic PRO, PRO+ and some older accounts are processed manually. The wallet balance updates daily at 8 to 9 PM EST.
Show 4 more notes
- Withdrawals from the wallet to an outside account take up to 12 business hours for admin approval. The receiving account must be in your own name (AML check), and mismatched names lead to a hold or rejection.
- The withdrawal fee applies to each wallet withdrawal: free over $250, and $50 for $250 or less. No other minimum payout is stated, so it is Under review.
- When you move to PRO+, PRO is put on hold and $5,000 of your PRO profit is frozen. Anything above that can be withdrawn right away. If you lose PRO+, you can withdraw the profit left in PRO+ and your share of the frozen $5,000, and any negative PRO+ balance is deducted from the $5,000.
- PRO users must sign a tax form before withdrawing. As a US company, Take Profit Trader follows US tax law and issues a year-end tax document showing a year's payouts. Tax treatment outside the US is Under review.

If nothing here worries you, getting started with Take Profit Trader takes 5 steps.
How to start
How to start with Take Profit Trader: 5 steps from sign-up to payout
Take Profit Trader sign-up runs through the dashboard on the official site. Three things are worth knowing first: you cannot buy a Test until identity verification (KYC) is complete, using a VPN during registration gets you rejected, and after passing you pay the $130 activation fee to move to PRO.
1. Create an account on the official site
Sign up on the Take Profit Trader website. Each person may register only one email address. You cannot use a VPN during registration, and registration can be denied for access from a restricted country, VPN detection or other internal risk decisions (specific reasons are not disclosed).
1Sign up from GET STARTED at the top rightTake Profit Trader official homepage (Source: Take Profit Trader official site, English page, captured 2026-11-05) 2. Complete identity verification (KYC)
Every new registrant must verify their identity, and only then can you buy a Test. It usually takes a few minutes, and manual review runs 24 hours a day on weekdays (24/5). Your name, phone number and address are collected, and you can enter a phone number from a country other than your country of residence. Which documents are required could not be confirmed in official articles and is Under review. Business registration (KYB) is for US entities only.
1Identity verification (KYC) steps (official)All new registrants must complete KYC verification (Source: Official site, English page, captured 2026-11-05) 3. Buy a Test and choose a data feed
Choose an account size and pay the Test monthly fee. The data feed is CQG (via Tradovate) or Rithmic, and it determines which platforms you can use. In the Test and PRO you sign the market data agreement as a Non-Professional. Positions are flattened automatically every day at 4:55 PM ET, so decide in advance when you will close out.
4. Pay the $130 activation fee and move to PRO after passing
When you pass, the Test monthly fee stops automatically. You pay a one-time $130 activation fee to activate PRO. You can activate up to 10 passed Tests in 30 calendar days and hold up to 5 PRO and PRO+ accounts at once. In PRO you must trade at least 1 day each calendar week.

Sign the tax form before withdrawing. Close your positions, move funds from your PRO account to the wallet, then send them from the wallet to an outside account. Outside the US the options are Wise or PayPal (the Payout System article also lists Routable), and the receiving account must be in your own name. Withdrawals of $250 or less carry a $50 fee.

- Traders who prefer no consistency rule on payouts after passing (PRO and PRO+ have no consistency rule)

From the first day after you pass and activate Take Profit Trader PRO, you can request 80% of profits above the buffer. There is no payout cap and no consistency rule. On Tradovate PRO, transfers to the wallet are automatic in 5 to 10 seconds.

No daily loss limit and no news rule in the Test
According to official information checked on 2026-11-04, the Take Profit Trader Test rules cover the maximum drawdown, maximum position size, 50% consistency, minimum trading days and similar. The daily loss limit was removed, and the news rule applies from PRO. The Test minimum is 3 trading days.

The monthly fee stops when you pass, and PRO has no monthly fee

What to know before choosing Take Profit Trader
PRO drawdown follows intraday peaks, and payouts start above the buffer
Take Profit Trader PRO uses Intraday Trailing drawdown, which follows your peak including open profits. You can withdraw only what is above the buffer (a $52,000 balance on 50K), so on 50K payouts start once your profit exceeds $2,000.

The monthly fee continues until you cancel, and refund terms are narrow
The Test is not cancelled automatically when you break a rule, and you are billed every month until you cancel. The $170 monthly fee for 50K is a higher list price than the $49 monthly fee for the Topstep 50K Standard, which is also billed monthly. Refunds apply only to unused accounts within 72 hours, minus $75. The terms say you waive the right to dispute payments (chargebacks).

Automated trading, holding positions overnight, and opposite positions including related products are prohibited, and PRO and PRO+ are also restricted 1 minute before and after news. Patterns such as using the maximum size on many trades are subject to review. PRO+ is invitation only, and specific promotion criteria are not published.

Why do traders fail or lose payouts at Take Profit Trader? 14 pitfalls from the official rules
The reasons you can lose a Take Profit Trader account or have a payout held are written in the official rules. Below are the ones the rule text suggests are easy to run into, split into the official rule and how to avoid it. They include the points where the rules change between the Test and PRO.
Touching the line in PRO when open profits pull back
Official rule:PRO drawdown is Intraday Trailing: the line follows your peak including open profits. It behaves differently from the end-of-day drawdown in the Test.
How to avoid it:When open profits grow during the day, calculate your room assuming the line has risen too. The line stops only when your peak reaches the buffer ($52,000 on 50K), so focus first on getting there. Source: Official site / Official site 2Sources for this section (2)
Touching the line in the Test with an open loss
Official rule:The Test line moves on an end-of-day basis, but if you touch the minimum balance you are liquidated on the spot, whether the loss is realized or open.
How to avoid it:Do not assume a position will recover by the close. Place a stop order inside the line.

Missing the 4:55 PM ET auto-flatten or a shortened holiday session
Official rule:All positions are flattened automatically at 4:55 PM ET, and overnight and weekend holding are not allowed. Positions are liquidated if you fail to close before a product's session ends or miss a shortened holiday session.
How to avoid it:Set your own close-out time ahead of the automatic flattening. Check US holiday trading hours the week before.

Leaving orders working right up to news in PRO
Official rule:In PRO and PRO+, you cannot hold positions or orders 1 minute before and after the FOMC statement (Wednesday 2:00 PM ET), NFP (Friday 8:30 AM ET) and CPI. Fed speeches and minutes are not covered.
How to avoid it:Cancel every order, including limit and stop orders, at least 1 minute before NFP and the FOMC statement. Put both release times on your calendar in ET. Source: Official site / Official site 2Sources for this section (2)
Holding opposite positions in your own accounts
Official rule:Holding opposite positions in the same or related products (ES and MES, NQ and MNQ, YM and MYM and others) across accounts with the same beneficial owner is prohibited. It is a violation even if a copy tool causes it, and detection leads to liquidation and forfeited profits, with a permanent ban for repeat cases.
How to avoid it:If you hold several accounts, keep every account in the same direction. Check that your copy settings cannot send opposite orders.

Using bots or algos
Official rule:Bots and algos are prohibited on all accounts. In PRO, every trade must be executed by hand.
How to avoid it:Place orders yourself. Do not bring automated setups you used at other firms. Source: Official site / Official site 2Sources for this section (2)
Trading the same as someone else, or running another person's account
Official rule:Coordinated execution with other users, mirror trading and running accounts under another name are prohibited. Violations can lead to forfeited profits, resets, liquidation and a permanent ban. Trade copying is limited to your own accounts and approved tools.
How to avoid it:Make and execute every trading decision yourself, and stay away from pass-for-hire and payout-for-hire services. Source: Official site / Official site 2Sources for this section (2)
Holding a position in PRO when a price limit is hit
Official rule:Holding a position when Limit Up / Down (a price limit) is hit costs you PRO and PRO+.
How to avoid it:On days with large moves, check the distance to the price limit and close early if price gets close.
Source: Official site
Letting a week go by without trading in PRO
Official rule:In PRO you must trade at least 1 round trip on at least 1 day each calendar week (Sunday to Friday).
How to avoid it:Even in a week off, schedule one round-trip trade at some point that week.
Source: Official site
Using maximum size on most trades, or relying on simulated fills
Official rule:Patterns such as using maximum size on most trades, relying on inefficiencies in simulated fills, or making large bets at the open or at the exact moment of news are subject to review, and the agreement may be terminated without notice.
How to avoid it:Choose your size and order entry based on whether you would get the same fills in the real market.

Paying the monthly fee on a Test that broke a rule
Official rule:The Test is not cancelled automatically when you break a rule, and billing continues on the same day each month. If payments keep failing, the account expires and cannot be restored.
How to avoid it:If you break a rule and want to stop, cancel right away yourself. If you want to continue, consider a reset (your renewal date does not change). Source: Official site: Subscriptions / Official siteSources for this section (2)
Requesting many small withdrawals
Official rule:Wallet withdrawals over $250 have no fee, while withdrawals of $250 or less cost $50 each.
How to avoid it:Let your wallet build up, then withdraw in one go with an amount over $250.

Trying to receive funds in an account under a different name
Official rule:The receiving account must be in your own name (AML check), and a mismatch leads to a hold or rejection.
How to avoid it:Use Wise or PayPal accounts in the same name you registered with Take Profit Trader.
Source: Official site: Payouts
Accessing even once from a restricted country, or using a VPN at registration
Official rule:Access from restricted countries is prohibited, including trading and viewing market data, and a single detection can lead to account restriction or blocking. Access through a VPN or remote connection is also covered, and VPNs are not allowed during registration.
How to avoid it:If you plan to stay in a restricted country, do not log in during the stay. Turn off your VPN when you register. Source: Official site / Official site 2Sources for this section (2)

It does not offer stocks, spot FX, crypto or CFDs. The founding year is not stated in official sources and is Under review.
What are Take Profit Trader reviews like?
Instead of review scores or star ratings, this page gives you facts you can confirm in official sources. The operating company, address, leadership and governing law are stated officially. On the other hand, the Test monthly fee continues until you cancel, refunds apply only to unused accounts within 72 hours, and promotion to PRO+ is at the firm's discretion, which will not suit everyone.
Is Take Profit Trader a scam?
Here are facts you can confirm in official sources. The firm is run by TakeProfitTrader LLC and governed by Florida law. It says it is not a broker and uses regulated brokers and CME-approved data providers (Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic). PRO is simulated but payouts are real money, and PRO+ is a live account whose orders go directly to the exchange.
Is Take Profit Trader available in my country?
As of 2026-11-04, Take Profit Trader restricts 119 countries and regions (list updated 2026-08-25). A country not appearing on the list is not a guarantee of eligibility, and the official pages do not say whether citizenship or residence is the basis. Even a single access from a restricted country can lead to restriction or blocking. Check the official restricted countries page before you buy.
Which languages does Take Profit Trader support?
Take Profit Trader supports English, Spanish, Portuguese, Norwegian, Swedish, Latvian, Russian and Ukrainian. Live chat runs from Sunday 4:00 PM EST to Friday 4:30 PM EST, and outside those hours you can email support@takeprofittrader.com.
How much does Take Profit Trader cost?
At list prices checked on 2026-11-04, the Test monthly fee is $150 for 25K, $170 for 50K, $245 for 75K, $330 for 100K and $360 for 150K. When you pass and move to PRO you pay a one-time $130 activation fee, and PRO has no monthly fee.
Is the Take Profit Trader Test monthly? How do I cancel?
It is a monthly subscription with no time limit, billed on the same day each month. It stops automatically when you pass, but breaking a rule does not cancel it, so cancel it yourself if you want to stop. If payments keep failing, the account expires, and an expired account cannot be restored.
How much is the Take Profit Trader activation fee?
You pay a one-time $130 when you move a passed Test to PRO. The amount is the same for every account size, and PRO has no monthly fee. You can activate up to 10 passed Tests in 30 calendar days.
How much is a Take Profit Trader reset?
There are two kinds. A Test reset is $79 for 25K, $99 for 50K, $139 for 75K, $169 for 100K and $199 for 150K, and your renewal date does not change. A PRO reset is limited to 3 per account and costs from $449 for 25K to $1,499 for 150K. PRO+ cannot be reset directly.
Can I get a refund from Take Profit Trader?
Only unused (untraded) accounts within 72 hours of purchase qualify. Because third-party technology and data costs cannot be recovered, the refund is the amount paid minus $75. The terms say you waive the right to dispute payments (chargebacks).
How do Take Profit Trader Test, PRO and PRO+ differ?
The Test is a simulated evaluation account with no payouts. PRO is a simulated funded account you enter for a $130 activation fee; from day one you can withdraw 80% of profits above the buffer, and the drawdown is Intraday Trailing. PRO+ is an invitation-only live account with a 90% profit split, no buffer and end-of-day drawdown. You can hold up to 5 PRO and PRO+ accounts at once per person.
How do I get a Take Profit Trader PRO+ account?
When you meet the conditions, an invitation arrives by email, and promotion is at the firm's sole discretion. The official explanation says there is no single criterion and that consistency, risk management, execution patterns and discipline are judged together. Specific conditions, such as the number of payouts required, are not published and are Under review. Setup usually takes a few days, and you cannot trade for up to 12 hours while switching to professional data.
What happens to my PRO profits when I move to Take Profit Trader PRO+?
PRO is put on hold and $5,000 of your PRO profit is frozen. Anything above that can be withdrawn right away. PRO+ starts at a $0 balance with the same end-of-day drawdown amount you had when you started PRO (-$2,000 on 50K). If you lose PRO+, you can withdraw the remaining profit and your share of the frozen $5,000, and any negative balance is deducted from the $5,000.
What is Take Profit Trader PRO+ Development?
A PRO+ account you are placed in if high-risk trading is observed. On 50K it allows up to 2 contracts (20 micros), with a soft daily loss limit of $1,000 and an end-of-day drawdown of $1,250. About 60 days of disciplined trading offers a path back to standard PRO+, and you can also request a manual review. If your net loss over the last 30 days reaches $10,000, new purchases are paused for 30 days.
Take Profit Trader PRO is simulated, so are payouts real money?
Yes. PRO orders are not sent to the exchange and are processed inside the data providers' (Rithmic, Tradovate) simulation, but the official explanation says payouts are paid in real money. Only the invitation-only PRO+ sends orders directly to the exchange.
What are the Take Profit Trader Test rules?
On a 50K account you pass by reaching the $3,000 profit target without touching the $2,000 end-of-day maximum drawdown, over at least 3 trading days. The maximum position is 6 minis or 60 micros. 25K has a $1,500 target and $1,500 drawdown, 100K has $6,000 and $3,000, and 150K has $9,000 and $4,500.
How many days does it take to pass the Take Profit Trader Test?

Does Take Profit Trader have a daily loss limit?
According to official information checked on 2026-11-04, none of the Test, PRO or PRO+ has a daily loss limit. PRO+ Development has a soft daily loss limit.
Is the Take Profit Trader drawdown EOD or intraday?
It changes by stage. The Test uses end-of-day trailing (EOD Trailing): it rises with your highest closing balance and locks when it reaches the starting balance. PRO uses Intraday Trailing, which follows your peak including open profits and stops at the starting balance. PRO+ is end of day, starting at a $0 balance and stopping at $0.
Can I hold positions overnight at Take Profit Trader?
No. Trading hours run from 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET, and positions are flattened automatically at 4:55 PM ET. Weekend holding is not allowed either. Missing a shortened holiday session gets you liquidated.

Can I trade FX, stocks or crypto at Take Profit Trader?
Stocks, options, spot FX, crypto and CFDs cannot be traded. You can trade futures on CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX, and the official list includes currency futures such as 6E and 6J and the crypto futures MBT and MET. You can ask on live chat about adding products not on the list.

When can I request a Take Profit Trader payout, and what are the conditions?
You can request one from your first day in PRO. You can withdraw 80% of profits above the buffer, which is a $52,000 balance on 50K. For example, with a $53,000 balance, 80% of the $1,000 above the buffer, or $800, is eligible. There is no maximum payout cap and no consistency rule in PRO.
What is the Take Profit Trader buffer?
The balance line in PRO above which you can start withdrawing: the starting balance plus the maximum drawdown. It is $26,500 on 25K, $52,000 on 50K, $77,500 on 75K, $103,000 on 100K and $154,500 on 150K, and you can withdraw 80% of what is above it. From the wallet to an outside account, admin approval takes up to 12 business hours. Wise and PayPal outside the US arrive within 12 business hours, and Plaid for US banks is usually real time but can take 1 to 2 business days.
What are the Take Profit Trader withdrawal fees and minimum payout?
Wallet withdrawals over $250 have no fee, and withdrawals of $250 or less cost $50. PayPal fees may also apply. No other minimum payout is stated, so it is Under review.

It is required for every new registrant, and you can buy a Test only after it is done. Your name, phone number and address are collected; it usually takes a few minutes, and manual review runs 24/5. The result is approval, resubmission or rejection. Which documents are required is Under review. You can enter a phone number from a country other than your country of residence.

Syncing with other users is prohibited, and opposite positions caused by copying are also violations.
What are the downsides of Take Profit Trader?

PRO drawdown is Intraday Trailing, which follows open profits too, and payouts start only above the buffer. Automated trading and overnight holding are not allowed, and positions are flattened automatically every trading day. Support covers a fixed list of languages, and PRO+ promotion criteria are not published.
