Take Profit Trader vs Tradeify: Monthly or One-Time, 50K Rules and Payouts Compared
Take Profit Trader vs Tradeify differs first in how you pay: Take Profit Trader's Test is a monthly subscription plus a $130 PRO activation fee after passing, while Tradeify Growth is a one-time payment with no activation fee. We compared the two using only the official sites and help centers as checked on 2026-11-04, on the same 50K account: Take Profit Trader's Test (PRO after passing) and Tradeify's Growth evaluation. The goal is not to say which is better, but to help you see which fits how you pay and how you trade.
- They charge differently. Take Profit Trader's Test 50K costs $170 per month until you pass, and you pay a one-time $130 PRO activation fee after passing. Tradeify Growth 50K is a one-time $145 with no activation fee.
- The $3,000 profit target and $2,000 max drawdown (trailing end-of-day during evaluation) are the same. The differences are the daily loss limit (none on Take Profit Trader's Test, $1,250 on Tradeify Growth), the evaluation consistency rule (under 50% vs none) and the drawdown type after passing (PRO also trails intraday, Tradeify stays end-of-day).
- Both firms publish restricted-country lists (as of 2026-11-04). Check whether your country is listed before you sign up; not being listed is not a guarantee of eligibility. Take Profit Trader's payout methods outside the US are worded differently across its official articles, so we show both.
Quick answer: which firm fits which trader?
You want to pay once with no activation fee after passing
All current Tradeify plans are one-time payments with no recurring charges and no activation fee. Growth 50K costs $145, and the evaluation fee does not grow if passing takes longer. Take Profit Trader's Test is monthly, and passing adds a $130 PRO activation fee.
You want to request payouts early after passing with no per-payout cap
According to the comparison table on Take Profit Trader's homepage, PRO payouts are available "from day one", with no maximum payout cap and no consistency rule. However, you can withdraw only 80% of profit above the buffer (a $52,000 balance on 50K). Tradeify Growth requires 5 profit days and 35% consistency for each payout, and the first payout is capped at $1,500.
You want to trade without a daily loss limit during evaluation
Take Profit Trader Test or Tradeify Select
Take Profit Trader's Test has no daily loss limit, and the 50K listing on its homepage says "Daily Loss Limit $1100 Removed" (the $1,100 daily loss limit was removed). Tradeify Growth has a $1,250 limit, but Select (50K $165) has no limit during evaluation.
You want to hold positions close to the US close
Neither firm allows holding overnight. The automatic close is at 4:55 PM ET at Take Profit Trader and 4:45 PM ET at Tradeify, so Take Profit Trader lets you hold 10 minutes longer.
You want to trade around economic releases
Tradeify does not restrict trading during news on any account. Take Profit Trader has no restriction on the Test, but on PRO and PRO+ after passing you cannot hold positions or orders within 1 minute before and after FOMC, NFP and CPI.
You want to use your own trading bot (automated trading)
Tradeify allows automated trading with conditions, such as the bot being owned only by you, not shared with others and not high-frequency. Take Profit Trader prohibits bots and algos on all accounts and states that all PRO trades must be executed manually.
This is not a ranking. Choose based on your own conditions, such as how you want to pay, when you trade and how soon you want a payout.
How do the 50K accounts compare side by side?
First, here are Take Profit Trader's Test 50K (PRO after passing) and Tradeify's Growth 50K on the same items. Both move you to a sim funded account after you pass the evaluation, and both have a $3,000 profit target and a $2,000 max drawdown. The biggest differences are how you pay, the daily loss limit, the stage where a consistency rule applies, the drawdown type after passing and the payout conditions.
| Item (50K) | Take Profit Trader Test 50K (PRO after passing) | Tradeify Growth 50K |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation fee and billing | $170 per month. An open-ended monthly subscription billed on the same day each month. Stops automatically when you pass | $145 one-time payment. No recurring charges |
| Activation fee (after passing) | One-time $130 PRO activation fee. No monthly fee on PRO | None (all current plans) |
| Profit target | $3,000 | $3,000 |
| Max drawdown and type | Test: $2,000. Trails the highest end-of-day balance (EOD) and locks once it reaches the $50,000 starting balance. PRO: same amount, but also trails the intraday peak including open profit (Intraday) | $2,000. Trails the highest end-of-day balance (EOD Trailing). Checked in real time. Locks at $50,100 in the sim funded account |
| Daily loss limit | None (Test, PRO and PRO+) | $1,250 (soft). Hitting it stops trading for the day. Widens to $2,000 once profit reaches 6% |
| Consistency rule | Test: your best profit day must be under 50% of total net profit (exceeding it raises the required profit; it is not a fail). PRO: none | None in evaluation. 35% for sim funded payouts |
| Deadline and minimum days | No deadline. Minimum 3 trading days (days with at least 1 trade count) | No deadline. At least 1 day, but you must trade at least once a week |
| Max contracts | 6 mini / 60 micro | 4 mini / 40 micro |
| Profit split | PRO (sim) 80%, PRO+ (live, invitation only) 90% | 90% in the sim funded account. 80% in Elite Live |
| Payout conditions | PRO from day one. 80% of profit above the buffer (a $52,000 balance). No maximum payout cap. $50 fee for wallet withdrawals of $250 or less | 5 days with profit over $150 per payout, 35% consistency, balance of $53,000 or more. $500 minimum, $1,500 cap on the first payout |
| Payouts outside the US | Wallet article: Wise or PayPal. Payout System article: Routable, PayPal, Wise (the official articles differ) | Mainly Rise (bank transfer, crypto, local currency). Plane only if Rise is unavailable (up to 7 days). Fees under review |
| Restricted countries | 119 countries and regions. Check whether your country is listed (2026-11-04) | 65 countries and regions, based on residence. Check whether your country is listed (2026-11-04) |
The easiest thing to miss in the table is the drawdown type after passing. Take Profit Trader's Test trails end-of-day, but once you move to PRO it switches to a type that also catches up with the intraday peak including open profit. Tradeify Growth stays end-of-day from evaluation through the sim funded account, where it locks at $50,100.
Tradeify's other 50K plans
Besides Growth, Tradeify offers Select, which has no daily loss limit during evaluation, and Lightning, which skips the evaluation and starts in a sim funded account (Funded, simulated). Here are only the main 50K terms.
| Tradeify 50K | Evaluation fee | Activation fee | Drawdown type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select 50K | $165 one-time payment. 40% consistency during evaluation | None | $2,000, trails end-of-day (EOD) |
| Lightning 50K | No evaluation; starts in a sim funded account. $492 one-time payment | None | $2,000, trails end-of-day (EOD Trailing) |

How much does it cost to pass? Monthly vs one-time totals
Take Profit Trader's Test is a monthly plan. The 50K costs $170 per month, billed on the same day each month as an open-ended subscription. When you pass, the subscription stops automatically. However, it is not canceled automatically if you lose the account for a rule violation, so you need to cancel it yourself if you do not want to continue. When you move to PRO after passing, you pay a one-time $130 activation fee. PRO has no monthly fee.
All current Tradeify plans are one-time payments with no recurring charges and no activation fee. Growth 50K costs $145, and the evaluation fee does not grow however many months it takes to pass. However, even evaluation accounts must trade at least once a week (Monday to Friday). Activating the sim funded account after passing is not automatic; you do it yourself from the dashboard.
The amounts in the table below are both firms' official list prices (as of 2026-11-04). Sales and discounts are not included. Taxes and payment fees are not included either.
| Time to pass (no resets) | Take Profit Trader Test 50K | Tradeify Growth 50K | Tradeify Select 50K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pass in 1 month | $300 = $170 monthly fee + $130 activation fee | $145 | $165 |
| Pass in 2 months | $470 = $170 × 2 + $130 | $145 | $165 |
| Pass in 3 months | $640 = $170 × 3 + $130 | $145 | $165 |
The table assumes you pass without ever touching the drawdown. With monthly Take Profit Trader, the number of months to pass becomes your cost, while one-time Tradeify costs the same regardless of time.
Reset costs and refunds
| Cost to start over (50K) | Fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Take Profit Trader Test reset | $99 | Available any time. Resetting does not change your monthly renewal date |
| Take Profit Trader PRO reset | $649 | Up to 3 times per account |
| Tradeify Growth reset | $95 | Sim funded accounts cannot be reset |
| Tradeify Select reset | $109 | Up to 10 per evaluation in 30 days |
| Tradeify Lightning | No resets | If you fail, buy again (50K $492) |
Refunds also differ. Under Take Profit Trader's terms, you can get a refund within 72 hours of purchase, but used or traded accounts are excluded, and $75 is deducted from the amount paid. Tradeify treats all sales as final, with no refunds on account purchases, resets or other fees.

How do the rules differ? Drawdown, daily loss limit, consistency and trading hours
Drawdown type and lock
On Take Profit Trader's Test, the $2,000 max drawdown line trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks once it reaches the $50,000 starting balance. On PRO after passing, the max drawdown amount is the same, but the type changes to intraday, and the line catches up with the peak of realized plus open profit. It also stops once it reaches the starting balance. On the invitation-only PRO+, it returns to end-of-day.
Tradeify Growth uses a line that follows the highest end-of-day balance in both evaluation and the sim funded account, updated once a day. There is no lock during evaluation. In the sim funded account, the line locks at $50,100 when the end-of-day balance passes $52,100 or when you request a payout, whichever comes first. It is checked in real time: touching it even briefly during the day is an immediate fail, and recovering afterward does not undo it.
Daily loss limit
Take Profit Trader has no daily loss limit on Test, PRO or PRO+. The 50K listing on its homepage says "Daily Loss Limit $1100 Removed" (the $1,100 daily loss limit was removed), and the comparison table also shows "None" for the Test. The date it was removed is not stated officially.
Tradeify Growth has a $1,250 daily loss limit in both evaluation and the sim funded account. Hitting it does not fail you; it only stops trading for the day. Once profit reaches 6% (a $53,000 balance), the limit widens to $2,000 from the next session.
Consistency rule
Take Profit Trader's consistency rule applies only to the Test: net P&L on your best profit day divided by total net profit must be under 50%. Exceeding it is not a fail; the required profit automatically rises above your best day times 2. PRO and PRO+ have no consistency rule.
Tradeify Growth is the reverse: there is no consistency condition during evaluation, and each sim funded payout requires 35% or less. Exceeding it does not fail the account, and you can request once you lower the ratio by adding trading days. Being exactly at the limit counts as meeting the condition.
Trading hours and holding positions
| Event | Take Profit Trader | Tradeify |
|---|---|---|
| Start of the trading day | 6:00 PM ET | 6:00 PM ET |
| Flat-by deadline | Automatic close at 4:55 PM ET. Positions not closed by the product's trading end are liquidated | 4:45 PM ET. Remaining positions are closed automatically, which is not a fail |
| Overnight and weekend holding | Not allowed | Not allowed (including live accounts) |
| Around economic releases | No restriction on the Test. On PRO and PRO+, no positions or orders within 1 minute before and after FOMC, NFP and CPI | No restriction (at your own risk) |
Depending on where you trade from, the flat-by deadlines may fall at an inconvenient local time. Convert the deadlines of both firms in the table above to your own time zone, and remember that ET shifts with US daylight saving time.
Hedging, automated trading and copy trading
Both firms prohibit opposite positions across your own accounts. Take Profit Trader prohibits opposite positions across accounts in the same or related products (such as ES and MES), and Tradeify treats combinations within the same group, such as buying ES and selling NQ, as violations too.
Automated trading is prohibited on all Take Profit Trader accounts, while Tradeify allows it with conditions, such as a bot owned only by you. Copy trading at both firms is limited to your own accounts.
Tradeify's sim funded accounts also have a payout condition on short holds: you cannot request a payout unless more than 50% of your trades are held longer than 10 seconds and more than 50% of profit comes from such trades. Take Profit Trader's PRO requires at least 1 round-turn trade on at least 1 day per calendar week (Sunday to Friday).

How do payouts compare? Conditions, frequency and methods outside the US
At both firms, you can request payouts only from the sim funded account after passing. Take Profit Trader's PRO profit split is 80%, and Tradeify's is 90% in the sim funded account.
| Item (50K) | Take Profit Trader PRO | Tradeify Growth Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Request conditions | From day one. The amount above the buffer (a $52,000 balance) is eligible. Close all positions when requesting | 5 days with profit over $150 per payout, consistency of 35% or less, balance of $53,000 or more |
| Cap per payout | No maximum payout cap | $1,500 for the 1st, $2,000 for the 2nd, $2,500 for the 3rd, $3,000 from the 4th |
| Minimum and fees | Minimum under review. $50 fee for wallet withdrawals of $250 or less, free above $250. PayPal may charge its own fees | $500 minimum. Payout fees under review |
| Flow of funds and timing | From the PRO account to the wallet (automatic in 5 to 10 seconds for Tradovate PRO, manual for Rithmic). From the wallet to an outside account, admin approval takes up to 12 business hours | Paid to Rise within 24 hours of approval. Up to 72 hours outside weekdays 8:00 to 17:00 ET and on US holidays |
| Profit split | 80% (90% on PRO+) | 90% (80% in Elite Live) |
| Tax | You must sign a tax form before a payout. A year-end statement of annual payouts is issued | Non-US traders submit a W-8BEN on Rise |
On Take Profit Trader's PRO, the buffer is the starting balance plus the max drawdown, which is a $52,000 balance on 50K. You can withdraw from the amount above this balance. For example, with a $53,000 balance, the $1,000 above the buffer is eligible, and you receive 80% of it, or $800. When you close a PRO account, you can withdraw 50% of the buffer, according to the firm.
On Tradeify Growth, the count of profit days resets to zero after each payout, so you collect 5 days again each time. The per-payout cap rises with the number of payouts and reaches $3,000 from the 4th. If you want to request sooner, there are also Select Daily (daily requests) and Lightning (no minimum days, a $3,000 profit target for the first payout). Only 1 request per account can be open at a time, and requests cannot be edited or canceled.
Take Profit Trader payout methods outside the US (the official articles differ)
Take Profit Trader's payout methods outside the US are worded differently in two official help articles. We do not pick one as correct and show both as written.
| Official article | Payout methods outside the US | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| How to Withdraw from the Wallet | Wise or PayPal (within 12 business hours) | US banks use Plaid (usually real time, sometimes 1 to 2 business days) |
| Payout System | Routable (140+ currencies, 220+ countries and regions), PayPal, Wise | Payments to an LLC go by Wise (or PayPal in the LLC's name). Names must match |
Tradeify's main payout destination is "Rise", which is said to pay by bank transfer (ACH, 1 to 3 business days), crypto or local currency. Only if Rise is unavailable because of country restrictions, or you do not pass Rise's review, can you use "Plane" (bank-to-bank transfer, up to 7 days, manual).
How to move to a live account
Take Profit Trader's PRO+ is invitation only, and you receive an email invitation when you meet the conditions. Promotion is at the firm's discretion, with no single standard. On PRO+ the profit split becomes 90%, and $5,000 of your PRO profit is frozen. For Tradeify's Elite Live, 3 payouts on one account or 10 payouts across all plans are the minimum to be considered, and reaching them does not move you automatically. If you move, you start from a $0 balance with an 80% profit split.

What should you check before signing up? Eligibility, ID checks and support
This section lists only what the two firms' official terms and help pages say. Neither firm states that it is available in every country. For points the official pages do not cover, check the official site yourself before you sign up.
Restricted countries and how eligibility is decided
Take Profit Trader prohibits access from restricted countries, including trading and viewing market data. The list has 119 countries and regions (article updated 2026-08-25); check whether your country is on it (as of 2026-11-04). Even a single detection can lead to account restrictions or a block, including access through a VPN or remote connection. Whether the firm looks at citizenship or residence is not stated officially, so check the official site before you sign up. The terms say the site is accessible from "most countries around the world", but that is not a statement about any specific country.
Tradeify decides by the country where you permanently live (your country of residence). Its restricted list has 65 countries and regions (as of 2026-11-04). Residents of eligible countries can trade while traveling in a restricted country, and residents of restricted countries cannot trade wherever they are.
Not being on a list is not a guarantee of eligibility. The lists can change. Check both firms' restricted-country pages yourself before you sign up.
ID verification
Take Profit Trader requires identity verification (KYC) for every new sign-up, and you can buy a Test after it is done. It collects your name, phone number and address and usually takes a few minutes. The accepted document types are not stated officially, so check the official site before you sign up. Using a VPN during sign-up is not allowed.
Tradeify verifies a government-issued photo ID and a selfie through "Sumsub" (a third-party verification service). Tradeify publishes a list of countries that must verify before receiving a sim funded account; for countries not on that list, verification happens before the first payout. If you pay with crypto, it is required at purchase. You may be asked to complete a "KYT (Know Your Trader)" AI interview of under 10 minutes, which you can answer in any language, according to the firm.
